Freebie Sites and How They Work

freebies
Andrew Singleton By:

I’ll admit, I used to think that freebie sites were a total scam for companies to make you sign up for something while promising you something you’ll never get. That was until I received my first payment from a “freebie site”, which happened to be a smooth $250.

A “freebie” implies that you’ll get something for free; and you will – but you need to do your part first. Typically, you get a freebie through three steps. First, you sign up at the site and complete one of their sponsored offers to go “green” and fulfill your personal requirements. “Greening” means the site recognizes that you have completed an offer through their site and they have been credited for you completing the offer. Then, you usually need a certain amount of “referrals,” which are people you tell about the site, who sign up and do the same thing you did. Once you have the correct amount of referrals, you submit for verification. That means the site is reviewing all of the people you referred to make sure they didn’t complete an offer fraudulently; and to make sure that they’re not you. Once you’re verified, you place an order at the site and in about a week, you have your free gift in hand.

Freebie sites make their money from companies who pay to advertise on their site. Every time you complete an offer, or one of your referrals do, the company pays the freebie site a certain amount of cash for bringing them a new customer. The freebie site earns the money from you and your referrals to purchase and send you the gift; and that’s it!

Freebie sites offer a wide variety of things from video game systems, to home appliances, to cold hard cash. After you’ve completed your requirements, each referral is generally worth around $45 dollars. For instance: for a free PSP, you would need to sign up and complete one of the offers on the site, and then get five other people to do the same. A PSP costs $250, so each referral for that site was worth roughly $50. Freebie sites usually also offer the cash equivalent to the gift that they’re featuring, so you would probably be able to receive $250 PayPal if you preferred that. PayPal is like an online banking service where you can send money to anyone with an email address. Create a free account at www.PayPal.com.

While freebie sites are a great way to earn some extra cash for that shopping spree you’ve always wanted to go on, they do require a certain level of attention. Keeping organized is the best way to stay efficient in the freebie world. Know what offers you’ve completed, know what sites you’re signed up for, and keep track of your referrals. That way, the money you make won’t end up being thrown out the window because you forget to cancel a free trial you don’t want to continue with or something.

If you have trouble finding referrals on different sites, there are a bunch of sites you can use to trade referrals with people, or you can even pay for referrals.

If you’re interested in getting into freebie sites, just send me a message and I’d be happy to point you in the right direction for starting and completing your first freebie site. Thanks, and good luck with getting FREE STUFF!

Break These 5 Financial Habits To Become Debt Free

free offers
Debt Free By:

None of us are perfect when it comes down to bad habits, but some are worse than others; not understanding your debt or finances is one of them. Kicking these bad habits into touch means that you can look towards becoming debt free:

1: Too many credit cards – Did you know that there are more credit cards than people in the UK? According to APACs, at the end of 2007 there were 73m credit and charge cards compared with around 60 million people.

Having too many credit cards means that you have the potential to get into too much debt. Although introductory offers many tempt you in, it is important that you take control of your credit card debt. Start by paying off the highest APR cards means that you can look forward to becoming debt free in a much quicker time.

2: Spending more than you earn – Spending more than you earn by living beyond your means is a financial habit which you need to nip in the bud right now. This is the quickest way to get into debt, especially if you regularly have to relay on your credit card the week before pay day.

3: Missing credit card payments – Always make sure that you meet your credit card, store card or catalogue payments as they fall due. Missing these payments not only means that you will have to pay late fees but any missed payments will also show on your credit file, which could make it more difficult to get accepted for credit in the future.

4: Losing touch of your finances – Being unaware of how much cash you have in the bank to how much debt you have outstanding means that you have lost touch with your finances, which will make it harder to become debt free. Checking your credit report is a good way to see your own credit history.

5: Not seeking debt help when you need it – Sadly debt problems will not sort themselves out, and if you are missing credit card, store card or even mortgage payments then you need to seek help as soon as possible.

Debt Free may be able to offer you one of our debt solutions which could help you to control your debts by reducing the amount that you need to pay to your unsecured creditors. Getting help about your debts mean that, if you qualify, you could look forward to becoming debt free in 60 months with an IVA.

What to Expect From Free Offers

Megan Quillen By:

Freebies can be an excellent way to save money, but you need to understand the different types of freebies that are out there and then make sure that the freebie is not costing you money in hidden ways. Here are some of the typical types of freebies offered and what to look out for:

Free Sample: This is when a product is given away (usually in a smaller “trial” size, but full size samples can also be found from time to time) with the intention of letting you try it to see if you like it. The manufacturer is willing to give away a sample of the product in hopes that when you try it, you will like it enough to begin using it or switch to their product from a competitor you were previously using. These rarely carry hidden costs and probably are the image most people have when mentioning the word “freebie.”

Free With Purchase: This is where you receive something at no extra cost as an add on when you purchase a certain product. While these can be good deals if you were planning to buy or need the main product being sold, you need to be careful not to purchase something you don’t really need just because it comes with something free attached.

Free After Rebate: With this method, you pay for the product up front and then send in some type of proof of purchase (usually a bar code accompanied by the receipt) to get a rebate on the money you paid. While these look great while purchasing the product, it’s important to read the fine print and terms before proceeding to purchase. Chances are there will be some restrictions which may make getting the rebate difficult. You want to take the time to know that you will qualify for the rebate and can receive it with relatively little work before you buy. If you don’t, you may find that the freebie is not so free after all.

Free Trial: This freebie gives you a product or service at no cost for a certain period of time. Two classic examples are one month free memberships or three free issues of a magazine. As with a free sample, the companies hope that once you begin using their product or service, you will continue to do so. The point to be careful about in regards to these free offers is that you are usually required to cancel the membership or subscription once the free trial period is over. If you don’t, then you will automatically begin being billed for the product or service. It is easy to forget these dates and your free trial can become quite expensive if you don’t religiously keep track of the dates.

Free Reward: This is where you receive something for free after doing something or completing a task. A classic example is receiving something after filling out a survey or applying for a credit card. The issues to take into consideration and weigh are whether the time spent doing the activity is worth the reward or, in case of filling out an application, will completing the activity cost you in some other way down the road.

Free Shipping: This has become the mantra to selling on the Internet. You buy the product and receive free shipping. The problem here is that we all know that the shipping has to be paid for somewhere, so you can make an educated guess that the shipping fee is being passed onto you in some other form. Classic examples of these are “processing fees” or “handling fees” which are added to the cost of the product. Even when these don’t appear outright, you can be sure that the free shipping has been factored into the cost of the product.

As you can see from the above information, free can actually end up costing you in hidden ways if you are not careful. In the end, taking the time to understand all the information and terms associated with the free offer is essential to make sure that the free offer doesn’t end up costing you more than if you had never pursued it in the first place.

8 Ways To Increase The Perceived Value Of Your Freebies

freebies
Helene Malmsio By:

Almost everyone is giving away a freebie so they can attract people to their web site. They are giving away free e-zines, ebooks, services, etc.

What’s happening to all this free stuff? It’s loosing it’s perceived value.

Every time you surf the internet or check your e-mail you see at least 20 to 50 freebies offers.

Don’t get me wrong freebies do increase traffic, but not like they did when the internet was new. The key is to increase the perceived value of your freebies so they will be more attractive to your audience. How do you do this? Well, here are eight ways:

1. You could tell them what the freebie is worth with a dollar amount. For example, “Subscribe to my free e-zine! A $199 value!”

2. You could add other freebies to your freebie that will increase the value. For example, “Subscribe to my free e-zine and get free access to our “subscribers only” private web site!”

3. You could tell them the freebie is only available for a limited time. For example, “Download our free ebook, this free offer will only be available until May 30, 2000.”

4. You could tell them the freebie is only available to a limited number of people. For example, “Our free software will only be available for the next 100 people that download it.”

5. You could give more details about the freebie. List the benefits, features, what problems the freebie will solve, etc.

6. You could describe your freebie to sound more attractive. For example, instead of “free report” you could say “free never released top secret document”

7. You could list testimonials for your freebie. Most businesses don’t give testimonials for their freebies. This would defiantly increase your freebies value.

8. You could tell people how many people have already receive your freebie. For example, “15,000 people have already subscribed to my free e-zine! Can they all be wrong?

These are only a few ways you can add value to your freebies. You could be creative and think up some other ways to increase the perceived value of your freebies. Also test each idea to see which one draws the most traffic to your web site.

A New Website Offers Free Breast Implants

Totally Free Breast Implants By:

A New Website Offers Free Breast Implants

Thousands of women every day hope to get breast implants, either to make them feel more confident or for a multitude of other reasons.  However, breast implants do not run cheap, ranging from about $6,000 and up in the U.S.  Ouch!  But, there is still hope.  Now, even if a woman does not have the funds to cover such a procedure, she can still get her much-desired breast implants thanks to the generosity of others (and to the creator of www.totallyfreebreastimplants.com).

Totally Free Breast Implants.com provides a gateway for women to network with men (and other women) around the U.S. to achieve a bigger bust.  The site is now accepting registrations for “Models” who desire free breast implants and “Sponsors” who wish to donate to the women.  The new site hopes to be fully “up and running” with hundreds of Models and Sponsors by the end of February 2009.  Best of all, registration is absolutely free for all members.

So, how does this work?  After completing the registration process, Models and Sponsors discreetly interact with one another on totallyfreebreastimplants.com via pictures, videos, chat, private chat, instant messaging, webcam, and e-mail.  Unlike other sites, Totally Free Breast Implants does not charge Sponsors “by the minute” or “by the message” to interact with the Models.  Instead, the site operates strictly on the “honor system” at this time, allowing Models to interact with Sponsors for as long as they want and Sponsors to donate as much as they want to whichever Model they choose.  Once a Model reaches her monetary goal and her surgery has been verified by the site, Totally Free Breast Implants sends the payment for the Model’s breast implant procedure directly to her surgeon.

Totallyfreebreastimplants.com launched its internet debut on February 9, 2009.  Scott Shook, the site’s founder, said, “We’re excited to see the site’s success and how many women the site can help.”

Get Your Paws On Some Free Apple Products By Doing Free Offers

Kristi Ambrose By:

I don’t know one single human being that doesn’t enjoy free money or free products! If you’re one of the billions of people that does enjoy this then you’re in luck because several sites online have ways for YOU the consumer to receive free items. Usually there are several ways of going about this. You can either join a site that gives prizes away, or you can try survey sites, which will usually give you a cpa offer to fill out.

With the sites that give prizes away there is usually some sort of a stipulation such as referring people, selling products and receiving a prize, etc. As for the cpa offers usually what happens is you fill out another offer for something else, say debt consolidation. They might charge you $1 for the fee of the debt consolidation form, and then you get to choose your “prize” for filling out the offer.

These are nice because the fee is usually really low, and if it’s a membership of some sort you can cancel before the payment goes through and you still receive your prize.

There are several sites you can do either option with. For the survey type sites you can check out cashcrate as well as dailycashrewardz. These are two good sites that actually pay when you do offers. So, even if you don’t want the prize you can still earn money. But, why wouldn’t you want the prize!?! You can get tons of products like Wii, Apple iPhone, MacBook, Super Nintendo, etc. For the CPA offers you can check out the following sites:

Wholesome Rewards - featured product is the Apple iPhone

Consumer Incentive Rewards - featured product is the Apple iPhone

Brandarama - featured product is the Apple MacBook 13″ white 2.0 GHZ laptop

Thinnest Laptop Ever - featured product is the Pink MacBook Air

Consumer Incentive Rewards - featured product is the iPod touch

Wholesome Rewards - featured product is the iPod touch

Honestly the cpa offers are probably the easiest way to receive one of the items listed above or any of Apple’s other products as well. And, compared to Apples retail price for some of these items, you won’t have to pay hundreds or thousands of dollars, instead you might spend a few bucks with some free shipping and handling and that’s it.

Nothing too hardcore about these offers. I did one a few months ago where I got a membership with Netflix (which I was planning on doing anyway) and I received an Apple MacBook. With the Netflix membership, I got the cheapest one and although I could have canceled it I didn’t because I had been wanting that for a while so it actually benefited me two fold! I didn’t actually use the MacBook so I sold it on eBay and made a few hundred bucks. Shh don’t tell anyone though!

Either way you decide to go, survey or cpa this could be a great way for you to get your hand on a really nice brand new bite of the Apple, all puns intended. Check it out, you won’t be disappointed!

Computer Freebies for Teens

freebies
Tulip Hayden By:

Computers and teens, somehow inseparable the duo seems to have become. It’s not a surprise really, given the exciting new world a computer and the internet can open up for a teen. From games to software, from emailing to earning money online, to flashy attractive screensavers to gadgets that enhance their experience online the teens seem to know it all now. It goes without a doubt then that freebies play an important role here too.

To make a list of all the computer related freebies available for teens now would be a futile task here. Believe it or not there is almost close to nothing left off the list. Everything a teen would want is just a click away now in the form of a freebie. So it would not take a genius to figure out why teens spend so much time online. Teens today are well acknowledged to the difficulty involved in saving money for buying stuff they’ve always wanted. Freebies swoop into the picture here as a blessing in disguise for most of them. Teens are smart and savvy now and they know where to look for what they need, with the comfort of not having to pay a single dime for the things they’ve always wished for. New gaming experiences, new software trials, new impressive screensavers, new music are among the many freebies awaiting the teens during the hours they spend online.

Trying to concise the splendid array of computer related freebies, let’s start with the amazing software that teens get to download for free. You have software for network protection, software that defrayments your disks better than ever, PC performance boosters for everyone whose PC’s seem to have got slower over the years looking to upgrade to a better PC, honest suggestion is to try the PC booster software, computer screen cleaners that will clean your monitors better than you could imagine, giving you a neat, scratch free surface, helping you discover new uses of it everyday among others. If this does not interest your teens then you have cool stuff that will enhance your computer experience like free screen savers, designer mouse pads, free game downloads, animation software for the creative mind, free e-cards, video sharing tolls, music downloads etc. most importantly for access to these interesting and exciting freebies teens need access to the internet. Freebies however solve this problem too by providing free internet access for teens from broadband to dial-ups.

So in a nutshell the products that companies provide you with today are innumerable. For teens looking to learn something new while on the internet, freebies provide you with all the software you can ever lay your hands on. It is fun every step of the way undoubtedly, but informative on the whole most of the times. So parents of teens need not really fret and fume about their teens spending all their available time online, if they are being given the opportunity to learn something new. Encouraging your teen in the right direction is a must however as freebies available on the net are not only the informative ones at all times.

Freebies that are not so healthy for teens of any age are also unfortunately doing the rounds as of today. It is for the teens to choose what they have access to and what needs to be ignored. The parents could provide a friendly counseling once in a while too just to give the teens a push in the right direction. As for companies providing the freebies for teens it is purely a marketing strategy and not charity. So keep that in mind before all you teens go ahead and believe every line of the promotional jabber you read for products online.

Freebie Trading: a Realistic Home Business That Works

freebies
Kathy McGraw By:

If you’re like most people, you’re probably looking for ways to earn some extra cash, or maybe you’ve been laid off from your job and you need a way to earn some money on which to live. Maybe you’re just tired of the rat race and want to ditch the long commute to work.

Regardless of which category you’re in, you’ve probably tried one or two “income opportunities” and have been disappointed to find out that they’re either scams or completely unworkable for you in your current situation.

I was in your shoes not too long ago, until I stumbled across an a site that talked about how an average person could make some real money on the Internet. That site was about how to make money with freebie trading.

Freebie trading? Huh? You’re probably scratching your head and wondering what I’m talking about.

What Is Freebie Trading Exactly?

Freebie trading is the system by which people generate an income by working freebie sites. What are freebie sites? Freebie sites or incentivized freebie websites (IFWs) are internet marketing websites that contain many advertisements(offers) for different products and services. The freebie site or IFW is paid a commission each time an individual signs up to receive these products and services through that site.

So How Do People Make Money?

People make money with freebie trading because the freebie site offers incentives to those who sign up for offers on their site and send other people there (referrals) who also complete offers. These incentives can take the form of a cash prize or a tangible item, like a laptop or a big screen TV.

Fulfilling the offer requirements of a freebie site is also known as “going green” or “greening” in freebie-speak. Most freebie sites only require that you, yourself, “go green” once, and after that, will allow you to collect prizes from them over and over again, an unlimited amount of times.

How Do I Make Money By Being A Referral (Completing Offers)

People who work freebie sites for a living (freebie traders) will pay you to sign up under them and complete the offer requirements (go green) so that they can get get paid (collect their incentive prize) by the freebie site quickly and efficiently.

Most freebie traders will pay you between $10-150 to “go green.” How much you are paid for a given site is determined by the difficulty of the site’s offer requirements and the value of the prize. A fair measure of what you should be paid is half of the per referral value of the prize. Many traders will pay you more than this for the more difficult sites.

How Can The Trader Afford To Pay Me To Complete Offers?

It’s really pretty simple:

Once you have completed your offer requirements “gone green” on a freebie site, that site is now “yours” and you are given a referral link through which you can refer other people to this site to complete the offer requirements just as you did. Once you have obtained enough referrals who have “gone green,” you will get paid by the site, usually a cash prize, or if you picked a tangible item like a tv or xbox 360, the site will send this to you by mail.

As an example, let’s say that you picked $30 Paypal cash as your prize, and the site requires that you get 1 referral for it. This means that you get $30 per referral. So you pay each referral $15 to complete offers (go green) for you on this site and you profit $15. The real beauty of the system is that once you’ve collected that first $30, you can send more new referrals to that site and collect $30 for each one over and over again, forever…without ever having to complete any additional offers.

Ok…Wait A Minute…What Do They Get Out Of it?

You may be wondering where the freebie sites/IFWs are getting the money to pay people, since it may appear that they are paying out more money than they are receiving in commissions. So where do the IFWs and their sponsors get their money?

In actuality, the world of incentivized freebie marketing is quite profitable, both to the freebie site and to the advertisers who run the offers for two main reasons: the first is that many people will end up keeping a product or service because they like it or because they just forgot to cancel. The advertiser makes money, either way, and gets word of mouth advertising to boot from the people who tried the product or service and liked it enough to keep it. The second is the concept of attrition, and this benefits the freebie sites themselves.

Attrition happens when someone signs up at a freebie site, starts completing offers, but never completely fulfills the offer requirements. The freebie site gets paid a commission for the offers that were completed, but because the offer requirements were not met, does not pay out the prize.

Freebie trading is the only online business that has ever worked as advertised and made me money consistently. If you’re looking for a way to earn some extra cash or you want to try your hand at making money from home, then freebie trading is definitely something you should try. The web site where I discovered this business charged me for the information about it and how to get involved. I will give you that same information and provide you with the opportunity to make some immediate cash on my own site: http://freebiecash4u.com

Free Offers Are An Effective Marketing Tool for Business

free offers
Charm Baker By:

Providing A Valuable Offer

Lately I’ve been dedicated to finding solid advice on the best, and most ethical ways to help my online marketing business. I‘m now directing my attention to offering Free things as an effective marketing tool. It seems to be one of the things that all veteran marketers have in common. Every resource site I’ve ever visited talks about free things, and how providing some kind of free giveaway, can attract business. Although I hadn’t really decided to concentrate a whole campaign around them, the ideal of providing free, good information, that you give whether someone buys or not, really appealed to me. I’d been thinking about a way to start using Special Reports in an effective way, but hadn’t formalized a plan. Then something happened recently, and I realized what I needed to do.

It started with a particularly cold and windy morning for California (yes we get a few of them now and then). My nephew was in such a hurry to get back in the house after dropping his daughter off at school; he left the lights on in his SUV. Later on, when he went out, the battery had ran down. When he contacted my sister, she was irritated because he had only purchased the battery a few months ago (against her motherly advice) from a place she considered questionable. Now the battery needed to be charged, so my sister and I took him and the battery to a nearby Auto Zone. They gladly hooked it up to a charger for FREE, and told him to come back in about an hour to pick it up. I smiled, remembering that I had taken advantage of their courtesy service myself, some years ago. I was actually surprised to learn that they still charged your battery for free. We picked the battery up an hour later, and dropped my nephew back at his vehicle. When he got the battery hooked back up and turned the key, the engine turned over on the first crank.

My sister and I went on our way to the mall to buy a couple of movie dvds. We discussed how great it was that the auto store provided such a needed service for free, and it wasn’t even one of their own batteries. We noticed a sign in the store earlier, advertising the fact that they also loan their tools for free. The employee at the store had even seemed like he was genuinely happy to have provided the service!

Providing A Good Experience

The episode left me with a warm and fuzzy feeling, and I knew I had to somehow share it. I continued thinking about it, while we stood in line at Walmart’s, waiting to purchase the movies. I wondered what made some people take advantage of free things while others didn’t. Just because we happened to have a good experience with a free service, is that always the case or is there sometimes a catch? I really started to think hard about the whole concept of free offers, that is, until my sister pinched me on my shoulder and asked, “What’s wrong with you? Did you hear what I said?”

Later on, when I had time to process my thoughts, I knew I needed to write down what about the Auto Zone experience made it a good one, so I could duplicate that same thing in my own business. After summarizing what had happened, as it pertains to marketing, here is what I concluded:

We were only potential customers, because the battery wasn’t an Auto Zone battery, so this free offer didn’t have strings attached. The free service (offer) was something of value, and clearly something useful * The free service brought us to the merchant, yet we weren’t ambushed when we tried to actually get the service.

The free service put us in a position to choose to become customers or not, by simply being there, and nothing else (My sister got a candy bar, and my nephew and I bought a couple of sodas).

The store didn’t pressure us to buy anything, or do anything extra, for us to take advantage of the store courtesy they were extending. * The store provided the free service just as they advertised it, with no catches,

The offer and the experience made us want to return for our next auto related purchase (repeat business) We were able to take advantage of the offer, only because someone knew about it, which shows the importance of passing along good FREE information!

With all that being said, I would like to provide a similar experience to anyone that checks out any of my own upcoming SPECIAL REPORTS. I am providing FREE OF CHARGE:

Money For College A Discussion of Effective Ways To Make Sure You Receive the Student Financial Aid You’re Entitled To

Whether you need it for yourself, or someone you know, if it’s something of value, it’s a good ideal to check it out, and keep it for later use (Just like you clip a coupon, and put it away) or pass it on.
